What is a Payroll Update?

“QuickBooks Payroll provides payroll updates to QuickBooks Payroll subscribers. These updates provide the most current and accurate rates and calculations for supported state and federal tax tables, payroll tax forms and e-file and pay options.

The majority of the supported changes are released at the end of the year since federal and state agencies release the bulk of its changes for the upcoming year. However, QuickBooks Payroll releases payroll updates throughout the year because various agencies make changes to their payroll tax calculations and tax forms during the year.

What do I get back?

A.

We offer two services: Voucher and printed paycheck.

Our voucher service provides for a lower cost, faster turnaround payroll service. After you email or fax in your payroll information, we will email or fax back to you payroll vouchers with all the proper calculations and net check amounts for each employee. You write the check yourself based on the amount we tell you on the voucher. No courier time, no courier cost.

Our printed paycheck service produces the actual payroll check and stub for you to sign and distribute to your employees. We will courier or express mail the check to your location.

How do I get payroll information into us?

Most of our clients choose to email or fax their information into one of our two payroll offices. We will customize a payroll form for you to fill out and email or fax in. Some choose to call their information in by phone during normal business hours.

How quickly can you turn my payroll around?

A.

From the time we receive information from you, we can have your payroll back to you in three business days.

How much does payroll support cost?

A.

This depends on the number of employees you have and the various service options you choose. We can help you customize.
