POLLER INTERFACE Back

POLLER INTERFACE SOLUTION IS DESIGNED FOR:

  • C-Store Operations (multi-site convenience stores)
  • Conventional Stations (service stations that do repairs)
  • Self Serve Stations (service stations that dispense fuel only.
May include snack shops or car washes)

Downloading Data
POLLER INTERFACE will retrieve the fuel and non-fuel sales data generated by the Point-Of-Sale register (POS). Once polled, the data can be posted to the Computerized Daily Book, the most complete daily book program in the industry. Volume and money totals, by cash and credit, fuel inventory, and tank status reports are among the information that can be polled.

Pollers offered by SSCS:

G-POLL G-POLL for Gilbarco G-SITE
W-POLL W-POLL for Wayne Plus
V-POLL V-POLL for VeriFone Ruby
N-POLL N-POLL for Wayne Nucleus
S-POLL S-POLL for Suntronic SM-2000
P-POLL P-POLL for Marconi Passport
C-POLL C-POLL for MSI CVN

Uploading Parameters
POLLER INTERFACE makes programming your POS easy. Data can be uploaded to the console enabling you to perform management functions such as generating reports, adjusting inventories, and updating fuel prices on the PC. You can upload new site parameters and prices for all your POS consoles from a central location. This helps assure uniformity among your sites and significantly reduces the time required to make changes. Programmable Parameters include:

  • Grade Price Information (G-SITE, Wayne Plus and Ruby)
  • PLU Information
  • UPC/SKU Information
  • Plus many others, depending on the capability of your POS

The data can be passed between the console and PC on-site using a direct connect cable, TCP/IP networking, or telephone modems. Information can be sent and received immediately, either on-site or from your remote office.
